RHONDA

She was a graduate of one of the only Department of Education approved school on the East Coast for permanent cosmetics.  The approach is very different than tattooing and should look that way in the end.  She emphasizes natural look in cosmetics and brings it to permanent cosmetics with ease. Whether you want lip liner, eye liner, eyebrow liner, or even some unique procedures set up a free consultation and she can tell you how great it is.

I began my tattoo journey in November 2003 and did a 6 month apprenticeship under Jason Voss of Modern Tattoo and Body Piercing in Bumpass, Virginia. After that I worked at Indigo Moon Tattoo in Orange, Virginia with 15 year artist Doug Leese. In 2005 I moved to Hillsboro, Ohio and worked at 8up Tattoos for 7 months and then was partners with Chad Shelton having our own part time shop called, “My Ink Spot”. Seeking to tattoo full time, I was presented with an opportunity to come to Maryland and I have now been at Gus’s  for nine months and I believe I’ve found a great place to call home. I am versatile in all forms of tattooing and enjoy the challenges that each new piece brings.

I started my tattoo venture all the way back in Muncie Indiana. I have a partial professional apprentiship under Geoff Gresham from Toledo Ohio. I worked with him for about 6 months or so. I learned quite a bit in that amount of time, every waking moment was about tattooing. We eventually traveled here to Frederick to work for NOTX.   I am currently working as a professional tattoo artist at Snakeman's.    know I have a long road ahead of me and I will never stop learning! : ) So far I've been here for about a year now.... I like it it's really cool..... I love doing what I do, I wouldn't trade it for anything!!
